The XD(m) series are my go to recommendation for people who have small hands. Whereas a GLOCK feels like a brick that shoots bullets, the XD(m).

After spending the day at the range with them, I can say the Springfield XD-M Elite is a terrific striker-fired pistol. Reliable, fun to shoot,
For the ABG (anything but Glock) crowd, the Springfield XD and XD-M pistols have always been popular because they have a grip angle similar to the 1911. This has not changed with the Elite. The XD-M Elite's grip safety now features a memory bump, and the right-side slide-lock lever is of sufficient size to work as a slide release.
New For 2022: Springfield XD OSP Slide Kit And Slide Assembly Conversion Systems – Springfield Armory announced the launch of a new series of slide kits and assembly conversions for its XD line of handguns, with the XD OSP conversion systems. Meant for the original lines of full.
Well, the "M" part of XDM stands for a match grade barrel. The gun's more capable than I am, really. Even with the 3.8″ version, I can reach out to 25 yards easily and stay on the target. The gun itself is probably easily capable of 50 yards. Maybe someday I'll test that but for now there's an issue I need to solve. Note the sights.

At the shooting range, the 3.8 XD-M Elite proved to be more comfortable to work with than one might expect of a compact 9 mm pistol. The sights.
For lack of a better term, the XD (m) is just a big gun. There's really no skirting the fact. It is a decidedly full sized handgun. Carrying it around requires a sturdy belt and a good holster. Unless you wear a billowing shirt, this thing prints like crazy, but at some point you stop caring.
Its a great review. Springfield Armory XDM (X-Treme Duty, the M is for the match grade barrel and match grade trigger). This are a series of semi-.
In September of 2021, Springfield Armory released the XD-M Elite in 10mm, which featured a 3.8" barrel. While I enjoyed shooting it, I remember thinking how nice it would be to have a full-size grip and a longer barrel/slide combo to help absorb some of the recoil.
I found the Springfield Armory XD-M, with the 5.25" barrel, to be soft with the easy ammo, and easily controllable with the heaviest. Accuracy was what I expect from a Springfield pistol, and while it would not be my first choice as a bullseye gun, that has as much to do with the level of recoil as anything else.
The Springfield XD (M) has been compared to the Glock 17 or 19, but is much more affordable than nearly every Glock pistol. It's not the cheapest pistol out there, but it's priced competitively for the features you'll get with this handgun. They're listed starting at $625, but you can sometimes find them cheaper than that.
The Springfield Armory XD-M line of handguns have proven to be a popular option on the American striker-fired handgun market since its release in 2007. These were meant to be an upgraded, match.

The Springfield Armory XDM is a great polymer double stack pistol and one of the best on the market. This is my review of this great gun.
Springfield Armory XD-M 10mm Pistols Review Even fully loaded, the Springfield Armory XD-M 10mms weigh less than a loaded 10mm 1911. Springfield's XD-M 10mms are durable, accurate, high-capacity polymer-framed pistols. Left is the 4.5 version, right is the 5.25. September 03, 2019 By Joseph von Benedikt
Best Bullets For Taurus 9mm G2 The .40 is a heavier bullet with loads between 135 to 180 grain, while the 9mm falls between 115 to 147. 4. Federal HST 9mm 147 gr. Penetration in the sweet spot zone, great expansion, and good velocity for the bullet weight. My personal favorite since I like. Taurus traits: The best and worst characteristics
Overall, I really like the Springfield XD-M Elite. It ran solid and felt good in the hands, with sure grips and easy recoil management. There are only two things that really bugged me about it, both of which are relatively minor and would not dissuade me from owning one, but worth noting, nonetheless.
One nice feature of the XD (M) series is you can remove the slide without having to first press the trigger. The front of the dustcover features an accessory rail for easy mounting of a white light or laser. Note the tall front sight. My review XD (M) OPS came fitted with a 5.3-inch barrel, which noticeably extends from the front of the slide.

The magazine well on the XD-M Elite Precision is a sizable one, but it is on an already sizable gun. You're not sacrificing concealability with.
Having that separate spring, however, gives it a slight nudge ahead of the Glock, in my Noobish opinion. For maintenance, I give it a 4.5 out of 5. Reliability As I said before, I like range guns because you're not reviewing some pristine piece of engineering straight off the factory floor. You're messing with a gun that's been around the block.

New For 2022: Springfield OD Green XD-M Elite 4.5" OSP 10 mm – Springfield Armory has announced a new addition to its striker-fired handgun lineup, with the OD Green XD-M Elite 4.5" OSP 10 mm. This is an exclusive variant, which will only be available for.
One of the drawbacks to this gun is weight. The XD (m) is easily the heaviest of the compact polymer guns at an advertised 28 oz. Compare that to the M&P 9mm compact (21.7 oz.) or the svelte Glock 19 (20 oz.). I'll spot Springfield a little bit since they give the weight of their gun with an empty magazine, but suffice to say, the gun is heavy.
