My lead 9mm cast bullets (ones I cast) are sized at .358". I also shoot .357" JHPs in my defensive loads. If I had to choose between .355 and .356 I would go with .356" as I have when ordering ZERO brand bullets (get the ones for 38 super). I've had good luck running.356 bullets in all my 9mm, .355 had more flyers when shooting groups during load development so l didn't get anymore.

You can fire either one and be fine. Typically, the softer materials are .356 and the harder materials .355. Both will work fine for anything.
